Summer Camp  Writing Program:
This is the perfect time to help your students move a step ahead in their writing skills, create a summer portfolio of work, and learn to love writingOur Summer Camp Writing classes will include homework.

Younger Students: 
• great grammar lessons 
• unlocking the secret skill of KWOs 
• 2 polished, age appropriate, essays a week 
• guided classwork with specific focus on: benchmark standards, semantics, grammar, punctuation, keyboard skills, handwriting, sequencing, and each child's mastery of essay structure  
• please provide a writing notebook, pencil, eraser, and a sharable google doc 


Older Students: 
• grammar, punctuation, & semantics power lessons 
• taking KWOs to the next level:quick notes for lectures, research paper KWOs, and standard review of effective KWOs  
• daily essays culminating in a summer camp portfolio of work 
• please provide a writing notebook, pencil, eraser, and a sharable google doc 


Our Summer Camp Writing Program uses IEW and TUSAL writing stylistic techniques as well as introductory Writer's Mark elements of language and writing.

Summer Camp  Literature Analysis Program:

E3's Literature Analysis Summer Program combines reading comprehension, vocabulary, and test taking skills.  Our Summer Camp Literature Analysis Program will include homework.

Younger Students: 
• Reading comprehension studies using classic children's literature. 
• Discovering and analyzing plot, identifying protagonists and antagonists, conflict and conflict resolution, theme, and plot
• Socratic discussion and organization of thought

Older Students: 
• Reading comprehension studies using classic American and English literature. 
• Socratic discussion and organization of thought


 • Understanding the difference between summaries and analyses



 Our Summer Camp Literature Analysis Program is based on college level examination program paradigms. This class is a blend of the very best teaching methods: Socratic discussion, Charlotte Mason, Classical Education and standard Q&A styled approaches.
